Personalised Home Consultancy

Our journey together begins with a consultation to scope out the extent of the project. From a single blind to a complete room or house transformation, my consultation can include a house visit, the subsequent development of mood boards, samples, paint colours, lighting suggestions and accessories proposals.

My approach is to enhance the fabric of your home overlaying it with a palette of colours and textures, blending eclectic pieces with existing art and furniture, fusing contemporary and antique for an individual and elegant transformation.

My services include:

• Declutter Consultant : I will advise on reorganising your space, restyling and spacial planning

• Home Colour Consultant : I will work with you to create styling cues and mood boards. Depending on your requirements I can also provide lighting design, interior styling and recommendations for flooring.

• Preparing your house for sale - small changes can provide the 'wow' factor that sells your home for a premium.

• Site visits before build / extensions : Planning your interior before you start the build to work out all the detail that you may not realise you need until the build's complete.

• Bespoke Soft Furnishings : handmade curtains and blinds and upholstery - as well as bespoke furniture sourcing and recommendations

How I Work

I believe that the key to success is in striking a partnership with my clients. Making a connection and developing an understanding through a 2-way conversation that guides rather than directs. Whilst I am happy to manage all aspects of the design service I offer, I find the most successful and rewarding results are those where my clients have been involved in the journey of creating a wonderful home. Giving you the benefit of my knowledge and expertise, my role is to offer suggestions and ideas, and push the boundaries for a statement result that’s ultimately all about you, your home and your lifestyle.

With my extensive set of contacts and understanding of style and how to “put things together,” I can offer you a range options and advice from price and quality to styling and colour schemes. I can help you to be courageous and clever with schemes to suit your budget, for a design that makes you feel like you’ve finally come home.

Your home will already have an integral beauty. My job is identifying those unique features and working with you to develop them, texturing fabrics, layering colours and pigments, opening up spaces and creating fabulous focal points that draw the eye and create a space that’s unique to you.

It may be a beautiful fireplace, a stunning painting, or a magnificent antique rug that creates the start point of our journey together. My task is to build on that treasured piece and grow your room into a space you will be proud of, at home in and that is very much “you”.

You may be in need of a statement piece to create a unique talking point for a room. Through an understanding of your lifestyle, and an eye for the unusual, I can make recommendations and source fabulous accessories - perhaps a magnificent antique chandelier for a hallway, a wonderful sculpture, a simple mirror or a bespoke wall-hanging. Whatever the item, you can be sure it’s individual, exclusive to you and will give you service for years to come!

Supporting Local Crafts People

Where possible, my preference is to use and support local suppliers from the area. Why? Their quality is outstanding and their prices are reflective of their work. Whether it’s a headboard, lighting, upholstery or window dressing, by working with local craftspeople, I can keep a check on the quality and progress to get the best possible result for my clients. I want to make sure everything I provide is the highest quality and through this extended team of artisans and craftspeople you can be sure you are investing in your home for lasting quality.
